The social heart of Rootka is one idea: the second player. A course gets far more interesting when someone else tries to beat you.

Start a challenge in one tap

At the end of a run, start a challenge: Rootka creates a link to share. Your friend opens it, sees the time to beat, and starts the same course whenever they want, from the app or via the web if they haven't installed it yet.

Asynchronous showdown

No need to be in the same place or at the same time. The comparison happens automatically on the right metric: best time, number of laps or score, depending on the course mode.

Notifications and nudges

You get a notification as soon as someone takes on (or beats) your challenge. From My challenges, you re-share the link in one tap to nudge a friend who is lagging.
